Baked Haddock with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients :
1 pound fresh or frozen haddock or cod fillets
Lemon-pepper seasoning
1 tsp oyster sauce
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 to 3 green onions, sliced (⅓ cup)
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
½ cup chicken broth
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Method:
1. Thaw fish, if frozen. Cut fish fillets into 4 serving-size portions.
2. Rinse fish; pat dry with paper towels.
3. Place fish fillets in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish; sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning.
4. Bake, uncovered, in a 450°F oven until fish flakes easily with a fork (allow 4 to 6 minutes per ½-inch thickness).
5. Meanwhile, for mushroom sauce, in a small saucepan cook mushrooms and green onion in margarine or butter until tender.
6. Stir together chicken broth, oyster sauce and cornstarch; add to mushroom mixture all at once.
7. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and bubbly; cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
8. Transfer fish fillets to serving plates; spoon mushroom sauce over fish.
